What is Aloe Vera extract?
Aloe vera extract refers to the concentrated substance obtained from the leaves of the aloe vera plant. It's made by extracting the gel or inner fillet of the plant's leaves, often through methods like filtration or pressing. This extract can then be used in various products, including cosmetics, skincare, and sometimes even for oral consumption.
The cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries use aloe vera extensively.
Aloe vera is known for its thick, pointed, and fleshy green leaves. Each leaf contains a slimy tissue that stores water, making the leaves thick. This water-filled tissue is the "gel" that people associate with aloe vera products.
The gel contains beneficial bioactive compounds, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
