     Vitex agnus castus extract has estrogen-like effects, anti-tumor and anti-bacterial effects. In Europe, it was once used to inhibit sexual desire, wake up to alcohol, treat stomach flatus, fever, constipation and relieve uterine spasm and other symptoms. ln the 19th century,
American herbologists also used it as a menorrhaphy and lactation drug.
       Vitex agnus castus extract is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to southern.Europe that can grow in temperate climates. It has palm-shaped leaves, small lavender tubularflowers, and red-black fruit (the holy berry). In clinical practice, spiroflower vitex can regulate
female sex hormones by acting on the anterior pituitary. It can be used to treat premenstrual syndrome, dysmenorrhea and climacteric syndrome.
      Vitex agnus castus extract is a species of Vitex in the family Verbena. It is an aromatic shrub in the family verbena in the labiform order.
Inhibits propionibacterium acnes. It is rich in a special flavonolderivative, which can help regulate androgen levels in acne areas, regulate oil secretion and skin keratinization process to inhibit acne. The main function of the extract in cosmetics and skin care products is anti-inflammatory agent and antibacterial agent.
