   Huperzine A, a reversible inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, has the characteristics of high selectivity, low toxicity and long efficacy, and is an ideal candidate drug for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in the world.   The effect of huperzine A wassimilar to that of Neostigmine, but the duration of improving muscle strength was longer than that of neostigmine.
